Objectives

  1. Introducing Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) to the Student-teachers / ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಹನ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ (ICT) ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವುದು
  2. Introducing student-teachers to different FOSS tools and OER resources to create learning/classroom resources / ತರಗತಿಯ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಲು ವಿವಿಧ FOSS ಪರಿಕರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು OER ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವುದು.
  3. Introducing students-teachers to FOSS based audio-visual creation tools to create learning resources / ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಲು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು FOSS ಆಧಾರಿತ ಆಡಿಯೋ-ದೃಶ್ಯ ರಚನೆ ಸಾಧನಗಳಿಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವುದು

- Creating concept map for the chosen topic

- Hyper-linking (local & web) resources to the concept map - Using note window, internal connectors to enrich your concept map - Insert images and different symbols to make more attractive - Use different export option to export your concept map as mm, odt, pdf, png

Participants explore and create an overview of chosen topic, add notes, images and web links to enrich the created mind map

Hands-on

- Exploring text editor and and FOSS Office suite to create text resources

- Adding information to your topic and Using text formatting features - By using local languages inputs making resources in bilingual - Adding numbers and bullets, hyper-links, tables, Images, header/footers - Using advance LO features like ToC, image format, auto correct, auto-fill. - Saving created document in different formats - odt, doc and pdf

- Inserting slides, text box to add text information - Adding shapes and table to make you slides more attractive - Use Text and Images formatting fetures - Adding animation and transition for slides and objects - Export and saving slides in different formats – odp, pdf, png

- Making a video resources on the chosen topic using screencasting tool

- Adding script for the video created - Adding multiple resource types into a video - Refine created/OER videos combining multiple resources

Participants create a video using resources collected and add a script to complete the video.

Participants refine the video created by combining text, audio, video and animations

- Using FOSS video editing tool to create video resources

- Getting familiar with tool interface - Importing and adding resources to the project/tracks - Using basic features to combing mulitiple resources – import, copy, move - Adding title and subtitle for the video - Exporting video in different formats

Participants will create videos using all the resources which they have accessed from web and created on day 2.

Creating digital assessment resources and accessing it easily to analyse Use Google drive to create other kind of resources like odt, ods and odp Sharing files with required permission

Getting familiar with cloud storage platforms and storing, accessing resources through different devices
