Workshop objectives

  1. Understanding challenges to English language learning, including owing to misconceptions of teachers and pedagogical errors
  2. Understanding the role of storytelling in language learning
  3. Strengthening teachers' abilities to use digital resources for addressing the academic needs in the classrooms.
  4. Demonstrating integration of digital technologies to make classroom an effective learning space for all children.
  5. Enabling teachers to experience and internalize technology integration as a coherent learning experience
  6. Building a 'community of learning' amongst South 3 block HPS English language teachers for continuous professional development through sharing and peer learning
