Workshop objectives

  1. Cultivating an appreciation for Hindi and demonstrating the significance of teaching Hindi as a third language.
  2. Understanding the challenges in teaching and learning Hindi language, including misconceptions of teachers and possible pedagogical errors.
  3. Understanding the role of storytelling in language learning.
  4. Strengthening teachers' abilities to use digital resources for addressing the academic needs in the classrooms.
  5. Demonstrating integration of digital technologies to make classroom an effective learning space for all children.
  6. Enabling teachers to experience and internalize technology integration as a coherent learning experience.
  7. Building a 'Community of Learning' amongst higher primary Hindi language teachers in South 3 for their continuous professional development through peer learning.
