Workshop objectives
- Cultivating an appreciation for Hindi and demonstrating the significance of teaching Hindi as a third language.
- Understanding the challenges in teaching and learning Hindi language, including misconceptions of teachers and possible pedagogical errors.
- Understanding the role of storytelling in language learning.
- Strengthening teachers' abilities to use digital resources for addressing the academic needs in the classrooms.
- Demonstrating integration of digital technologies to make classroom an effective learning space for all children.
- Enabling teachers to experience and internalize technology integration as a coherent learning experience.
- Building a 'Community of Learning' amongst higher primary Hindi language teachers in South 3 for their continuous professional development through peer learning.
