The focus of this KOER workshop is on:
- Understanding the uses of Geogebra
- Structuring an online course in Geobegra
- Structuring lessons for foundational mathematics
- Updates on KOER and how to add content
- Refresher on wiki training

Pedagogical Possibilities for Geogebra
Evaluating Geogebra files
Small group discussions - in what all ways can we use Geogebra for teacher professional development and for classroom teaching-learning. In what all ways can we use Geogebra for teacher professional development and for classroom teaching-learning In each small group, have one facilitator (to facilitate the discussions and manage time) and one documenter.
Agenda for small group discussion is as follows
- Collect the Geogebra files created by the teachers (or downloaded from geogebratube)
- Discuss the ways in which the file can be used for teaching-learning
- Document the discussion as follows
- Learning objectives in using the GGB file
- Which part(s) of the framework are you using in this case - (See Mindmap - visualisation, integration,conceptualisation etc)
- When to use (teaching-learning context)
- Student profile - a. Foundational b. Basic c.Advanced)
- How to use (actual transaction process, explain in simple, brief points)
- Method of Geogebra (visualisation, conceptualisation, problem solving, integration)
- Underlying principles/ concepts
- Limitations
- Variations in using GGB for this objective / Related GGB files
