ಈ ಮುಕ್ತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲದಿಂದ ತಂತ್ರಾಂಶವೂ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ದೊರೆಯುವುದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.ಅದುನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಲಬ್ಯವಿರುವ ತಂತ್ರಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲವಾದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಬಳಕೆಯಲಿ ಕುಂಟಿತವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಆದರೆ ಈ ಮುಕ್ತ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲದಿಂದ ತಂತ್ರಾಶಗಳು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಲಬ್ಯವಿದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಬಳಕೆಗೆ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ

Hi all,
Classroom is not limited to just four walls but becoming part of global network of people, ideas and creativity using popular social media tools and sites. With the help of ICT,education can reach the areas where there is no infrastructure and other resourses, what is required are only internet connection with acompatible device.
OER when used with ICT empowers a student and faculty to learn in a efficient way. There are many advantages of using OER like:
better learning outcomes
excellent opportunityto learn from high quality top notch material
student motivation who can review the course material at their own pace and time
faculty development and recognition
the school cannot retain its competitive edge without it....

Free and open source based on co-operative learning and sharing the knowledge.It is very important for education. because OER helps to create own materials in teaching learning proces.and we can also engage the students in fun ways to develop a child creativty.and also it develops our methdology.

As our educaion system is trying to change the teaching-learning method from chalk-talk method to e-learning method. The OER's play a very impotant role in Education sector. its helps for e-publising and e-learning

OER are important for education because it provides lumps of information regarding all the topics. It also helps in effective teaching-learning process. It encourages e-learning and also helps both students and teachers to use technology effectively and also to be updated with the technology.

The students can more understand by e-learning method than the chalk-talk method in the teaching learning process. OER help teacher to make class room more effective. It is the building material specifically. Using OER help reduce cost associated with producing and distributing course materials in both primary and secondary education institutions.
Teacher can have this material often at low cost and can also update materials and share their contribution with others. Anyone can freely copy, use & share the information.
